Zero Time Dilemma, the game I won't shut up about, has a launch date for both the 3DS and the Vita. The third game in the series will be launching worldwide on June 28, 2016.
Now here's some more interesting news: it'll also be the first visual novel of the series to hit the PC, which would be at a later date. This was all revealed during a GDC event, alongside a brand new trailer or which you can catch below:
Based on the trailer, the game will be more cinematic than its predecessors, having fully-animated cutscenes. Despite the "eh" voice acting, the trailer has gotten me pumped up. Good music, awesome cinematic cutscenes... I'm just super excited to get my hands on this!
Anyway, it's also known that the story will be wrapping up the entire series, answering questions that have been nagging at fans for years. You can check out more about Zero Time Dilemma in our article here, including the names of the nine participants, and a few answers to some interview questions.
Now for the bad news: apparently there is nothing brewing in regards to any PC versions of 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. Ah well, both games are worth it if you're able to nab your hands on them. But who knows? Maybe if demand is high, the two titles will see themselves on Steam's front page.
