Keep your guard up, 'cause the unstoppable ninja Zeku has joined the fray of Street Fighter V! Or he will on October 24, that is.
Having first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2, Zeku is Guy's former teacher. He taught Guy how to master the Bushinryu, a type of ninjutsu. While Zeku was the 38th master of Bushinryu, Guy eventually became the 39th master. Shortly after this, Zeku had disappeared entirely. Now Zeku is back, looking to start a new ninja clan and develop a new fighting style.
The official Street Fighter YouTube Channel posted the reveal trailer earlier today. In the trailer, you got a sneak peak of the various costumes (Story, Battle, and Nostalgia Costume) and movesets that will be available to him. He appears to be an up-close-and-personal fighter, with emphasis on the idea that they can't hit you if you're ALWAYS hitting them. Personally, the rush down characters is always my favorite type to play in fighting games. Like Captain Falcon in Super Smash Bros., for example. Before you comment, I know that Smash Bros. and Street Fighter are nothing alike.
Zeku will be arriving on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One October 24 as part of the Season 2 Character Pass, which is $30 on the associated markets. See the trailer for yourself below:
