I didn't expect Garry's Mod to be on here...

YouTube has been celebrating its 10th birthday party throughout the entire month of May by peering at some of its life highlights. However, it is all in Alphabetical order. Today is "L," which stands for Let's Play! So, in other words, today is Let's Play Day!

Let's Plays have been around for so many years, and they've only grown more widespread. We know of several familiar faces: Vanoss, PewDiePie, Markiplier, Northernlion, and Gopher, who all love to energize their audiences with banter (and screams).

There are, of course, many games that have received millions of views and a ton of watchtime, which have been compiled into a list of the "Top 10 Games on YouTube (Ever!)" organized by watch time. Below are the results:

1. Minecraft
2. Grand Theft Auto (series)
3. League of Legends
4. Call of Duty (series)
5. FIFA (series)
6. Garry's Mod
7. The Sims (series)
8. Five Nights at Freddy's (series)
9. Puzzles & Dragons
10. Dota 2

I am very surprised with some of the entries, while some have been expected. For instance, I definitely have expected Minecraft to make the top of the list. There are so many worlds and players within Minecraft that to expect otherwise would be unfathomable. It would be more surprising for Grand Theft Auto, League of Legends, Call of Duty, FIFA, and the Sims to not be plastered on the list. However, I should have expected Five Nights at Freddy's to be on the list, but I didn't. Same with Dota 2, Puzzles & Dragons, and Garry's Mod. There is, at least, one additional matter to note: these games are varied in terms of genre, but it seems that no RPG has actually made the list. Odd, huh?
