This is more of a PSA than anything, so I don't want to take up too much of your time, but do you remember that WW1-era shooter that EA and DICE are making? The one that people are super-excited for and think will finally replace Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as the go-to FPS for a new generation? Well, if you happen to be subscribed to the Battlefield Insider, your one-stop newsletter for all things Battlefield-related, you likely already know that EA is now accepting beta-test sign-ups, so if you want to participate in the Battlefield 1 closed beta, you need to go sign up right now. It's not public, you have to be a insider member to get that privilege, but if you sign up now it might not be too late to get your name on that list.
You can sign up for Xbox One, PS4, or PC, but you need an origin account for the PC version, unsurprisingly. While EA didn't share when the beta would come out specifically, they did say it would be sometime soon after Gamescom, which ends on August 21st, so... it'll be soon, maybe by the end of the month.
So, get on that, is basically the summary. Good luck!
