Since it's the month of October, I feel that I have to talk about a horror title at least every other day. Today, I would like to talk about the new update for the horror adventure Doorways: Holy Mountains of Flesh. Developed by Saibot Studios and earning a positive rating on Steam, the Early Access title has recently received update 0.2.0, which introduces the 'transition map': a new area that the player will visit between acts (keep in mind that Holy Mountains of Flesh is three acts long--The School, The Mansion, and The Temple). This particular map has a name: El Chacal. El Chacal is a small and remote village snug deep in the mountains of Salta, Argentina, and what you must do there is to take down a family of lunatics led by Juan Torres, AKA "The Roaster." The update only includes the beginning of the game, set right before Act I. Be pleased that it will center on story and exploration.
If you've already played through Mountains of Flesh and want to access El Chacal - Part 1, all you need to do is go to Stage Select. However, if you're new to the game, you just need to smack confirm on New Game.
Each part of El Chacal will be visited after each Act, but what's beyond the beginning will be available in future updates.
You can currently purchase Doorways: Holy Mountains of Flesh for $9.99 on Steam.
