Yoshi, the upcoming carboard platformer for Nintendo Switch, has been delayed into 2019.
We noticed a lack of Yoshi at this year's Nintendo E3 press event. The game company stated that they wanted to focus on 2018 games and announced later that the currently untitled project will be pushed back into next year. The game is being developed by Good-Feel, the team behind Yoshi's Woolly World. Nintendo of America president and chief operating officer Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed with Polygon that the game continues to be in development and is making great progress.
Until then, a number of other Nintendo IPs featuring the little green dino will be available for fans to whet their whistle. This includes Super Mario Party, Mario Tennis Aces, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
