We've been seeing some fantastic titles out of the Yakuza series, especially with the recent Yakuza 0. Sales have been impressive in the west, and now the beginning has finally surfaced as a result. Would you like to see how it all began in the Yakuza universe?

Good, because you can on August 29. Introducing Yakuza Kiwami, or Yakuza "extreme." This Playstation 4 remake will take you back to the roots of Yakuza, and will only be priced at $29.99. All North American pre-order will include a special SteelBook, which is becoming popular, now that I think on it.

You can take a peek at the Yakuza Experience website, which contains information on the Yakuza universe. You'll find the first issue of a 10-issue digital comic that spans from Yakuza 0 to Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, which will come to the PlayStation 4 in 2018.

I'm still waiting on a deal for Yakuza 0, however. But Yakuza Kiwami for $30 is hard to beat.
