So, Yakuza is a fantastic series. Plenty to do, a storyline that will tug at your heart strings - hell, even the side quests manage to make your eyes glassy. Anyway, it hasn't been long ago that Yakuza 0 was released. Yakuza Kiwami is just over the horizon, and now we have a release date for Yakuza 6, the final entry in the tale of Kiryu Kazuma. When is the release date?
March 20, 2018, in both Europe and North America.
And there you have it. Mark your calendars, folks, because Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will arrive before you know.
The title will be the first in the franchise to utilize the new Dragon Engine, which was designed for the PlayStation 4.
Oh, and the legend himself, Takeshi 'Beat' Kitano, will be playing a supporting role in Yakuza 6.
I'm looking forward to that. Oh, and of course the mini-games will make a return. Duh.
Yakuza 6 will be available both physically and digitally. There is also an After Hours premium edition, which includes a hardcover art book, two 280ml shot glasses, a couple of ice stones, two coasters, and an exclusive box.
I would not want that item shipped - jus' saying. Anyway, there will also be a limited launch edition. What will be featured in there? A hardcover art book that is also a disc case.
Anyway, look forward to Yakuza 6... In the meantime, here's a trailer to hold you over.
