XCOM 2: War of the Chosen Expansion Announcement

XCOM 2 is getting a brand new expansion called War of the Chosen. This has just been announced and it looks like they're coming in guns blazing with this new add-on. They are adding brand new enemies, missions, classes, environments, and resistance factions when this drops on August 29th. The Chosen you will be fighting in the new add-on are alien heroes with different personalities and abilities that they use to hunt XCOM around the world.

As the campaign rages on, The Chosen will get more powerful as both the humans and aliens discover new technologies. The three Chosen that you will be facing off against include The Assassin, a close range stealth unit, The Hunter, a sniper class with long range capabilities, and The Warlock, a mage who uses the forces of nature to harm soldiers.

The Resistance heroes you will be working alongside are some of the most powerful soldiers ever created. These include Reapers, a stealthy saboteur, Skirmishers, human hybrids that can perform many actions per turn, and Templars, who are powerful psionic fighters who charge up over the course of the fight.
