Sometimes, those from the UK come out pretty lucky when it comes to gaming. Just recently, they received Yoshi's Wooly World, when North Americans don't expect the game until mid-October. They also have been able to enjoy the critically acclaimed visual novel Steins;Gate, when we North Americans must wait just a little longer. But sometimes, North Americans receive some goodies ahead of time: notably Western Digital's My Passport X, a portable 2TB drive exclusive to the Xbox One and PC, which released back in April for a small fee of $139.99. Now GAME is finally getting their paws on the product, which is now available to consumers, specifically Xbox One gamers, for £94.99.

The UK national release of My Passport X actually isn't until July 15, so GAME customers are fortunately enough to be able to snap this product first.

A thin, sleek device boasting 2TB of space, players can store many more games on the Xbox One without the need to delete games you are no longer playing or on temporary hiatus. The device is easy to set up, with no messes, so gamers can worry less about technical difficulties and more about playing their games.

Rachel Dearsley, Microsoft Category Manager at GAME, comments on the timed-exclusivity of My Passport X:

"Not only will My Passport X improve the gaming experience in the home but also on the move as gamers can take the drive with them wherever they go."

"With this added space and the reward points earned when purchasing through GAME, there's no excuse not to treat yourself to a new game too!"

For those interested, you can visit your local GAME store, or you can visit this here page.

I wonder how many imported the drive before the UK release...
