An official date has been confirmed for the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion. Blizzard announced today that World of Warcraft Legion will release August 30, 2016. The expansion will be the sequel to the Warlords of Draenor (which garnered mixed reviews from players), and the world of Azeroth will be targeted by new demonic forces. There will also be a new class added, called "Demon Hunter," customizable class-specific Artifact Weapons, and a new continent called The Broken Isles.
The expansion will go on sale for $49.99 at retailers and Blizzard's online store, and anyone who pre-orders it digitally will receive an instant boost to level 100 and early access to the Demon Hunter hero class. There will also be a complete PvP overhaul (something Final Fantasy XIV should take a look at, might I add), for the expansion, including a new Honor System. You can read more about the changes here.
Either way, you can definitely look forward to Warlords of Draenor coming August 30, 2016. More than likely, this will persuade people to come back to the game and enjoy some more fun in Azeroth... at least for a little while.
