I'm not sure if you can tell, but I'm a big fan of tabletop games. So much, that I went out of my way to check some out during QuakeCon. Mostly, I love tabletop RPGs. Whether it be Dungeons and Dragons, Fiasco, World of Darkness, or whatever else, I'm always in. That's why I was stoked when Troika Games and Activision released Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines based on White Wolf's Vampire tabletop. That's why I'm just as stoked that Focus Home Interactive is bringing us back to White Wolf's World of Darkness, but this time, as werewolves.

You really can't blame me for this.

Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide studio are teaming up to make a game based on White Wolf's older werewolf iteration, Werewolf: The Apocalypse. The most intriguing aspect of White Wolf games is that they include in-depth story telling. They are often heavily based on internal politics between different groups in tense situations. And, of course, the stories are often full of a gritty darkness that match the tone of the subject.

I'm definitely interested to see what comes from this deal. Regardless, I'll be here on the front lines to take it on.
