If you haven't heard of it, Women in Games is a non-profit organization driven to support diversity in the video game industry. It's no secret that women are far underrepresented in today's video game companies. Their current goal is to double the number of females in the field within the next ten years. That gets a little easier now that they have gathered four corporate ambassadors for their struggle.
  • Io-Interactive - Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Paradox Interactive - Stockholm, Sweden
  • Techland - Wroclaw and Warsaw, Poland
  • Wooga - Berlin, Germany
The point of these new ambassadors is to help reach out to women in the community. Eventually, this would hopefully lead to a more diverse, fair, and open working environment for women in the industry. These four countries are the first ones to sign up with Women in Games. Surely, and hopefully, they won't be the last.
