Nintendo has been far more open minded to mature content on their consoles than they used to be. This can be seen with the recent Nintendo Switch ports of DOOM, Wolfenstein, and even Night Trap. Unfortunately, the porting process is a tedious one and takes considerable time. But those waiting for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus for their Switch now know exactly how long they need to wait.

In a video by Nintendo, the game company confirms that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will release on Nintendo Switch on June 29. The 50-second video is, by all means, a standard gameplay video, with segments, cut showing it played on a Switch. The graphical quality is also a touch lower than the Xbox and PS4 versions, so we are likely seeing the graphical settings that'll be found on the Switch.

This action-packed sequel brings protagonist William "B.J." Blazkowicz back to the heart of the Nazi regime. Taking place right after the first game e Kreisau Circle retrieves the injured player from Deathshead's fortress. Fading in and out of a coma for 5 years, B.J. has another job to do still.
