Witcher 3's Day One Patch Provides a Lot of Fix'uns

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is just over the horizon, within reach of our little paws, but unfortunately, we all have to jump over a little hurdle when the game finally arrives to consoles and PC. That's right, players can look forward to the Day One Patch CD Projekt Red will unleash. Just what will the patch contain?

Major Changes:

Support for DLCs
Multiple stability issues fixed
Overall performance improvements
Quests and Game:
Variety of cosmetic quest improvements
Journal objective fixes
Quest mapping fixes
Dialogue flag fixes
Quest balancing issues
Scene triggering improvements

Gameplay Systems:

Boat behavior
AI improvements
NPC spawn strategy improvements
Combat balancing
UI optimizations

So we can expect a lot of positive changes (even graphically) before the game even releases. If you're curious about the sizes, the patch will be about 588 MB for the Xbox One, due to the dynamic resolution scaling that will bump the game up to a beautiful 1080p resolution, and 482 MB for the PlayStation 4. The PC patch size has not been revealed yet, but expect it to be of a similar size.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox One. However, the game will unlock on PC at 1 AM Warsaw time on the 29th of May, meaning that the game will unlock at:

7 PM EST
6 PM CST
4 PM PST
9 AM AEST (May 19th)
7 AM AWST (May 19th)
