Wireless Controllers Fix NES Classic's Biggest Flaw

The NES Classic has already been a big hit. It pretty much sold out of all stores the moment it hit shelves. That's not entirely surprising. It does have some of the greatest in classic games all set in one box (complete with save states). However, Nintendo's NES Classic isn't without some flaws. The original NES had short cords on the controllers and power buttons on the console itself. That was fine back in the 80's, but it doesn't really work great now. No one likes having to sit two feet from a 60 inch flatscreen to play Kirby's Dreamland.

A 2.5" screen is a different story.

Luckily, that issue may be a thing of the past. A wireless controller adapter is soon available for the NES Classic that works with any bluetooth controller. Unfortunately, though, the adapter will first be shipping in a bundle alongside a wireless NES-style controller in the middle of December. So that solves the short-cord problem. However, there's still the issue of having to walk to console to switch games.
