Win the Chance to be Stripped of Modern Comforts with Ubisoft

And really, who doesn't want to be thrust into the middle of an unforgiving wilderness?

Do you live in France, the UK, Germany, Spain, Belgium or The Netherlands? Are you a fan of Ubisoft and their products? Are you frustrated and disillusioned with the conveniences of the modern world and yearn for the chance to embrace your primal roots, strip naked, and start running through the streets screaming like a feral ape while smashing a club against passing cars?

Well, if that describes you--first of all, let me congratulate you for your self-restraint, and secondly, do I have the chance of a lifetime for you! To promote Far Cry: Primal, Ubisoft is announcing a contest where the prize is the opportunity to live on the wild side for a day! Kind of.

So, if you live in one of those countries and you explain, in a Tweet hashtagged with #cavebnb, why you want to eschew the modern world and go primal (you see what I did there?), and you have a chance of winning the trip of a lifetime. Namely, you’ll be flown to France, stay a night at a hotel while receiving intensive survival training, then, the next day, you’ll be let loose in the French wilderness to survive for a day without comforts, accommodations, or a way home.

"By day, you'll develop new skills and learn to fight the elements by taking part in an intensive survival course with one of our experts. Once night falls, you'll have to deal with an inhospitable environment and survive in the most extreme conditions, spending the night in a cave with very few comforts. Do you really think you're up to it?"

Yes, the most extreme conditions. When I think of the French countryside, ‘extreme’ is the first word to pop into my head.

Still, this is a pretty nifty (and unorthodox) bit of marketing. While it sucks that it’s not happening for the United States (yet--that could still change!) if you really are in one of those countries, heck--why not give it a go? What’s the worst that could happen? Dying?

Pfft, people die all the time, and you don’t hear them complain about it.
