Without Red Dead Redemption 2 coming later this year, people can't stand the anticipation. We need our fix of good old western action before we can get our hands on arguably the best wild-west game ever made. Coincidentally, some developers seem to be catching onto the popularity of the wild-west formula. The new Far Cry is rumored to be set in an old-west setting, and now, a new western MMO has surfaced on the internet, even fooling people to think it's Red Dead Redemption 2.
An image was circulating around the internet yesterday that people suspected to be from Red Dead Redemption 2, and like many rumors on the internet, the news spread quickly. Sadly it wasn't from the highly anticipated wild-west from Rockstar, but a new PC MMO called Wild West Online. A Kickstarter campaign is expected to start up this month with a goal of $250,000 and the developers hope that Wild West Online fills the void that we were left with after the first Red Dead Redemption.
The developers have announced that they will be revealing more information on May 26th. Until then, Red Dead Redemption will be going on sale for the Xbox One starting next week. Maybe it will tide you over until Red Dead Redemption 2 or Wild West Online comes out.
