Remember the Wild Arms series? Well, the series is set in an alternate Wild West universe. In fact, as a kid, I remember watching the beginning of the original Wild Arms, but I didn't know the title for another fifteen years.

Anyway, thanks to the latest episode of PlayStation Blogcast, it's been confirmed that the PlayStation 2 RPG by Media.Vision will be heading to the North American PlayStation Store on May 17, 2016.

Sorry for those wanting to play on the PlayStation 3 or Vita, but the title will only be on the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 version will be updated with HD resolution and trophies, including one Platinum trophy, so if you're a trophy hunter, then this should spell good news for you.

It's also important to note that trophies have also been added for another PlayStation 2 title, Kinetica, a racing game developed by Santa Monica Studio in 2001. However, a release date hasn't been confirmed for this game, so I suppose we will just have to wait.

For now, everyone should dive into Wild Arms 3, which scored a 78 Metascore and an 8.4 User Score, which is pretty high.
