Wii Games Display on Wii U GamePad with New Update

Last night, Nintendo released a new system update for the Wii U that finally lets gamers display their Wii games on the GamePad. It is still disappointing for some, as many people want to completely ditch their Wii controllers and nunchucks to play on the GamePad - but they still need their old controllers to play. Still, it's a good update and a nice little unexpected feature. The only problem is that the update can take hours to download depending on how fast your internet connection is, simply because the update is 700mb.

The ability to display Wii games on the Wii U GamePad seems to be the biggest highlight from the update, however there are other features that were added as well. You can now plug in a USB keyboard to the Wii U and it will work fine now, and there are also improvements to the internet browser. It's a huge update with a few other minor features added, but it's definitely worth the download if you use the console's online features.
