I'm sure that's a question that has been keeping all you readers up at night- if the dictator of North Korea had a video game, what would it be like? While the logical answer would be a Pac-Man clone, where instead of pellets you feed on the tears of your people and the ghosts that chase you are your own relatives that you've murdered... a 16-bit run and gun game also works.

The perfectly titled Glorious Leader! puts you in the somewhat little shoes of lil' Kim as he battles the American military while riding Unicorns and Narwhals. Oh yeah... and did I mention Dennis Rodman is your co-op partner? This will be the first game released by Moneyhorse games, and behind all the tongue-in-cheek humor seems to be a pretty solid game. The primary platform for the title is mobile phones, so they can only push the twitch based shooting stuff but so much... but a PC version is also mentioned on their website. It is also mentioned by Moneyhorse Games CEO, Jeff Miller, that he fully expects Apple to reject listing the game on IOS for the controversial subject matter.

I'm sure the conservative media outlets will be all over this game and make ridiculous claims that this somehow glorifies our enemies (without actually playing to see there's unicorns and other things that make it an obvious parody). From what I've seen of the trailer the game looks pretty good, there's seven levels- each with a boss fight, and they're aiming to release by the end of the year.

The art style and sound also has a very distinctive Sega Genesis vibe to it that I'm really loving. The one thing Rolling Thunder 2 was missing was a homicidal dictator that rides mythical creatures into battle... it seems so obvious now!
