So many removals.

Well, it seems as if Fire Emblem Fates is going to be a bit more censored in the Western release. Just recently we referred to something controversial being pulled from the Western release of the strategy RPG, but now the "petting" feature is being chopped as well, a Nintendo rep confirmed with Kotaku. Petting is a relationship-building mechanic where players can utilize the touchscreen to pet other characters. Apparently, there's not-so-innocent dialogue attached, even among siblings.

"Yes, that is the case [that petting isnt in the English version]. You might have heard somewhat misinterpreted or exaggerated information about the Japanese original game, but even in the Japanese original version, we have not included any features which are considered inappropriate in Japan."

Well, this is expected of Nintendo, oddly enough. Do you feel like you're missing out on the petting feature?
