Wedding Dress Outfit in Super Mario Odyssey

The highly anticipated Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch comes out in only 7 days (October 27th), while more and more news about it begins to bubble up. This time it's about the wedding-themed Amiibos that will be available alongside the game.

FamilyGamerTV posted an unboxing video for the Super Mario Odyssey Switch Bundle, complete with Amiibo unboxing. In this, its revealed to us the features the Amiibos will have with the game. When you glance at the back of the packaging during the video (available below) you will see that the Wedding Mario Amiibo will unlock a white wedding suit for you to wear in Super Mario Odyssey, while the Wedding Peach Amiibo will actually unlock a wedding dress option.

While Mario has been everything from a cat to a shoe, this may be the first time Mario has worn a legitimate dress. In this modern age where cross-dressing and transgenderism are becoming more and more accepted in society, this is a small step by Nintendo towards that equality. Or maybe they just thought Mario in a wedding dress was amusing.

While the Mario and Peach Amiibo outfits are confirmed, the Bowser one remains a mystery. Check out the Nintendo Switch and Amiibo unboxing with the video below.
