We Happy Few is getting a feature film adaptation, and it's definitely no surprise. The game has a very interesting story, but sadly, it lacks a little bit in the gameplay department. The movie will feature basically the same story as We Happy Few. A dystopian 1960's theme where the entire world is on mandatory medication that keeps them ignorant and in a euphoric state. The antagonist is immune to the drugs and he must try to get behind the government conspiracy while avoiding detection, just like in the game.
It's a very interesting concept, and it's no surprise that somebody saw the potential it has for a film. If you want to play We Happy Few, its available on Steam early access and Xbox one. Just beware that the game is in early access and its prone to problems as well as a significant lack of content at the moment.
