Don't worry, they didn't reveal too much.

Now that we're actually nearing the release of We Happy Few, developer Compulsions Games have detailed their plans for post-launch content.

They plan to include four updates to the game, which will be available sometime after the game's release: Sandbox, They Came From Below, Lightbearer, and We All Fall Down. The first item will be a free update, while the rest are only available as part of the Deluxe Edition or as individual purchases.

Sandbox mode will be a free update for all players. This acts as an infinite mode, where players can customize the world as they see fit. This includes size, danger levels, food, and even the option to play as a Wellie. Compulsion says this mode "will bring back the systemic, sandbox world showcased in the early days of We Happy Few."

The remaining updates will be part of the We Happy Few Season Pass, which is included in the Deluxe Edition of the game. All three are story expansions taking place in Wellington Wells.

The first is Roger & James in: They Came From Below! These two protagonists set off for adventure. What they find is a terrifying new technology.

Lightbearer puts the player in the role of Nick Lightbearer, a dramatic and disorganized musical artist. Loved by the locals, find out what's going on in his head on the Uncle Jack Late Show.

The developers have said little about We All Fall Down, other than that you shouldn't "go digging up dirt from the past." Not knowing is the entire point, I suppose.
