If you were as unlucky as me and didn't get a chance to participate in the first wave of Quake Champion's closed beta test, then you might be in luck. Bethesda announced this morning that the second wave will be starting as early as tomorrow, and they sent another batch of codes out.
If you need me, I'll be spamming the refresh button on my mail inbox. Seriously though, you still have to be pretty lucky to get your hands on the Quake Champions code. Sadly, I don't think I'll get to play it just yet, and unfortunately, nobody can post gameplay footage of images of the closed beta as part of the non-disclosure agreement, so Here's hoping that an open beta follows shortly after. Beggars can't be choosers I guess, but we can still hope. The second wave of the closed beta starts April 13th at 7 AM PT/ 10 AM ET.
If you participated in the first closed beta test and are thirsty for more, don't worry. Playerreceivedcieved the code for the first testing period will automatically be included into the second phase of testing. Though if you're hoping that your progress from the first testing phase transfers over, think again. Although there will be a fresh wipe, Bethesda is giving players 500 Platinum for the second beta to make the transition a little more smooth.
