Once a year Blizzard Entertainment holds their fan convention, BlizzCon. Taking place in Anaheim, California, there are sure to be some big-time announcements regarding games like World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, and Overwatch.
The BlizzCon 2017 opening ceremonies will be live streamed for fans to be able to watch from the comfort of their own home. The live stream will take place on Twitch as well as YouTube, is due to begin at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET, and should last about an hour.
This year's opening ceremony will be a touch different than before. Instead of a single main stage, Blizzard will be presenting from 3 different stages. Mythic main stage, Overwatch Arena, and the Hearthstone tournament stage. It's fair to believe that announcements on each stage will be regarding their respective games.
While the opening ceremony to BlizzCon will be free to watch by everyone, the panels and esports competitions afterward will only be viewable with a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. You can purchase a ticket for $39.99 on Blizzard's shop. A hefty cost for sure, but one that would allow access to the panels as soon as they happen, albeit digitally.
BlizzCon 2017 runs Friday, November 3rd (today) through Saturday, November 4th (tomorrow). You can see the full list of panels and schedule for the event on the official website.
We have the YouTube live video feed below, be sure to check back here later to watch the even as it unfolds in real time.
