The Movember Foundation is getting pretty big, as games are joining forces with the charity. First, Lucky Day, and now Warframe. Digital Extremes are proudly participating in Movember, the month-long celebration of the mustache to help raise awareness of men's health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health issues, and physical inactivity. The charity hopes to improve men's lives, having raised $673 million globally. Starting today, Warframe players who log in on any platform will obtain The Dastard, which is the first of five free mustaches equippable on their Warframe. I bet that would look hilarious. To obtain more styles, players need to head over to the official Warframe Movember site and donate to the cause. For every fundraising goal met, players will unlock the next stache style.

Currently, Warframe boasts the Guinness World Record for the Largest Gathering of People Wearing False Mustaches in a Video Game (that's a record!?), which was set back in 2014--over 10,000 Tenno across all platforms managed to help accomplish this feat.

According to Meridith Bruan, VP of Publishing at Digital Extremes:

"Acts of honor are fundamental traits of the Tenno in Warframe and we are honored to contribute to such a meaningful, worthy cause. With all the activities we have planned throughout the month, I know our Tenno will rise to the occasion with donations to help fund Movember's programs to improve men's health worldwide."

The free-to-play Warframe is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
