Do you ever wish you could play Warframe on the go, in the kitchen, or over at grandma's house? Fear not, young Tenno. Developer Digital Extremes has recently announced that the popular free to play online game will be coming to Nintendo Switch.

The announcement was made during TennoCon, a fan-held expo dedicated to Warframe. An official release date has yet to be confirmed, but we can safely assume that, like all the other ports, it will be a digital-only download.

The third-person shooter doesnt yet have a specific launch date for the Switch. Its been available on Windows PC and PlayStation 4 since 2013 and Xbox One since 2014.

Originally for PC and PlayStation 4 in 2013, Warframe released on Xbox One in 2014. It currently sits at the fourth most popular game on Steam, which doesn't include console players. Panic Button, the studio that has brought Rocket League and Doom to the Switch, is behind the port.
