Remember that that sci-fi-esque video game that Vanillaware teased beyond the Odin Sphere remaster? Well, today at the Tokyo Game Show, Vanillaware released the debut trailer for the mech-heavy title 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

That sounds like a bit of a mouthful, but it looks amazing, as expected from Vanillaware. Set in a futuristic world, the story appears to focus on high school students and a town featuring some very heavy mechs.

The setting kind of screams FLCL, which to me is a good thing. The game will be available for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. As for the release date? No one knows...
