I was originally very skeptical when I first saw Vampyr. The trailer and demo that it showed back in 2016 just wasn't that great. Whether it was the graphics looking outdated, or the awkward looking movement, I just wasn't a fan. My opinion on the game at E3 this year has completely changed and now I truly can't wait for it to come out.

I've always been a huge fan of decision-based games. You call the shots and you see how that choice has consequences in your virtual world. It's an awesome concept and I'm so glad that more and more developers are adding things like this into their games. For Vampyr, your playstyle and decisions have a major impact on your game.

You can talk to every NPC in the game. They all have their own name, backstory, relationships with other NPS, likes, and dislikes. Now, the more you get an NPC to like you, the more cool stuff you can do. For example, you can kill enemies all day long and get small amounts of experience. If you build a relationship with an NPC and then suck their blood, sacrifice them, whatever you want to call it, you get way, way more experience.

At certain points, you can even use mind control on NPCs and get them to tell you the truth about anything. It's so dynamic and I love it. They have also greatly improved the mechanics of the game, and it looks really good (aside from the mouth sync during conversation). Check out the trailer down below for yourself and see what you think.
