DOTA 2 is one of the largest eSport titles in the world. Players around the world gather together to compete in massive stadiums with every seat packed. The International last August was a sight to see, and soon you can see it again. Valve has announced True Sight - The International 2018, a documentary.
Set to premiere live at the Nordisk Film Cinema Palads in Copenhagen, Denmark, the documentary followed the efforts of Team OG as they progressed toward an incredible victory against PSG.LGD to win the Aegis of Champions. The broadcast begins at 8 PM CEST, with a Q&A session between the attendants and the players themselves, hosted by Kaci and PyrionFlax.
The International is an annual tournament hosted by DOTA 2 developers Valve. The most recent event took place August 20 through 25 in Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. It gained media attention when OG won against PSG.LGD, which surprised most of the industry and was commonly regarded as a "Cinderella success story." The team would leave the competition with an award of $11,190,158.
Tickets to True Sight will go on sale on December 25. Purchase details and alternate viewing method details will be available soon.
