Uncharted 4 Fastest-Selling Game on PS4

So, if you read my last article, then you'll know I compared Overwatch to Uncharted 4 when it comes to that sweet, sweet microtransaction money. Well, while it's a bit early to call it now, I'm willing to bet those two games are going to have at least one more thing in common: selling a whole lot, really fast. In fact, Sony just announced that Naughty Dog's latest and presumably last addition to the Uncharted series, A Thief's End, has sold 2.7 million copies globally--making it the fastest and best selling first-party game to ever come out for the PS4.

So far, in any case. From the PlayStation blog:

"A huge congratulations goes out to Naughty Dog for an incredible feat. The success of the game is a testament to the caliber of the team at Naughty Dog and their unwavering commitment to their fans. Most of all, we wanted to give a special thank you to all of you who joined us so far on this incredible adventure, and have embarked with us on Nathan Drake's final, wild ride."

So that's nice. No one could argue the game doesn't deserve it, it's quite good (enough to warrant hate when a reviewer disagrees, sadly enough), and it's nice to see the game is going to (hopefully) go out with a bang. Or maybe they'll pull a Scott Cawthon and keep them coming.
