Waaaay back in February, I revealed that hacker groups have been 'defeated' by the most modern DRM out on the market, Denvuo, which protects games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Doom, Total War: Warhammer, and, of course, Just Cause 3. Well, I figure I might as well keep you all up to date and inform you that in the several months that followed, other hacking groups have been hard at it, and have just recently cracked the code, allowing for several copies of these protected games to temporarily show up in Torrent sites.
So. Let it never be said hackers aren't quitters,if nothing else. The exploits that allowed hackers to crack the game will likely be fixed very soon, but, this does mean that Denvuo has now broken it's perfect track record of keeping games safe. Sad.
Anyway, that's how the situation has developed.
