The Ubisoft E3 2017 Press Conference definitely came with a lot of big reveals and surprises, but perhaps the most promising and surprising title of all is Skull and Bones, a new Pirate game that takes a hyper-realistic approach to naval combat. Ubisoft showcased some extremely stunning visuals in the cinematic trailer for Skull and Bones, but they also showcased some multiplayer gameplay footage, even though it was scripted.
We got a pretty good glimpse into what the game will be like, but how much of a single player story element Skull and Bones will have is unknown at this point. The introduction of the Kraken at the end is also pretty much a mystery. Nevertheless, Skull and Bones seems to offer a definitive Pirate experience.
