Just two days ago, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 5 will be set in the wide-open wilderness of Montana; disappointing fans that were set on the rumor of it being set in a wild-west scenario, probably because people really need their western fix before Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out next year. Nevertheless, Ubisoft has just released the first artwork for Far Cry 5, and it's got everyone extremely curious. This new artwork reveals what seems like Far Cry 5's main characters, and most likely the main antagonist (in the middle).
Although the wide-open wilderness of Montana looks somewhat peaceful, it looks to be inhabited by some religious extremists, some violent religious extremists at that. The artwork seems to be a very interesting take on Davinci's last supper painting, with more of an emphasis on guns, violence and well, guns. The artwork also shows planes in the background, maybe hinting to the fact that Far Cry 5 will have aerial exploration elements? Who knows, but we'll find out more on Friday the 26th when Ubisoft does its full reveal.
