As you may also know, Ubisoft's latest Far Cry game was set in Nepal, and thus the Far Cry team at Ubisoft is more than a little familiar with the country and it’s people, as they had spent time there for research. So it only makes sense they would now take action to help offer some relief to the suffering people of Nepal.
Thus, they’re partnering up with the Canadian Red Cross to send money for aid: matching donations up to $100,000 to the victims. According to the Red Cross:
"Having spent the last few years working on Far Cry 4, a game heavily inspired by Nepal and its people, it is with heavy hearts that the Far Cry family pulls together to raise money for the Canadian Red Cross, who are mobilizing their traveling hospital team to Kathmandu to offer support and medical assistance.
The Far Cry team will match donations up to the first $100,000. Thanks for your generosity and please, spread the word."
Thusly, you can go here to join the fight. Even a few dollars will help, and this is a much more direct cause than anything the Humble Bundle does, so if you can spare the money, it would be appreciated.
