Now, you can feel however you want about Ubisoft, and I wouldn't hold it against you. After all, between shady pre-order culture, devaluing indie development (which, to be fair, they've been making strides to fix), day one DLC, and having games that are glitchy, buggy, sometimes barely-functioning messes, it's easy to disregard them as just another crude, hard-headed triple-A developer, and wish ill of them. But however poorly you might think of them, you should never let hatred trump over forgiveness--especially not when forgiveness nets you a free copy of Ubisoft's critically acclaimed Rayman reboot, Rayman Origins.

Yes, as part of their ongoing "give a free game away every month" campaign to celebrate their 30th anniversary, starting next week you can get Rayman Origins for your PC, with the only cost of entry being a uPlay account, which... might be too high for some people, to be fair.

"We could not celebrate Ubisoft 30th anniversary without talking about Rayman. Created in 1995 by Michel Ancel, Rayman is one of the few platforming characters that has been created at the 32-bit era that is still alive today. Rayman 1 was released on Atari Jaguar and is today the Ubisoft game that has traveled across the most different platforms."

So, if you're interested in playing the critically acclaimed platformer, feel free to forgive Ubisoft jussst long enough to get this on your uPlay library, then you can go back to hating. No one said forgiveness had to trump over hate FOREVER..
