Ubisoft Asks Where the Next Assassin's Creed Should Take Place

And what features the game should have.

Ubisoft recently sent out a number of user surveys pertaining to future Assassin's Creed titles. In this we see some interesting ideas that the game studio/publisher is considering for the franchise. One of the most interesting questions lists potential new locations for a future game.
  • The Peloponnesia War between Athens and Sparta in Classical Greece.
  • Joan of Arcs battles and rise of the Black Death during the Hundred Years War.
  • The Invasion of the Americas by the Spanish Conquistadors.
  • Willam the Conqueror and the invasion of England.
  • The Spanish Inquisition (setting of the Assassins Creed Movie).
  • The Conquests of Alexander the Great.
  • The overthrow of the Tsar Empire by the Communists during the Russian Revolution.
  • Genghis Khan and the Mongol Invasions.
  • The Warlord Battles in Feudal Japan.
  • Viking invasions and their great army.
  • The Rise of the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean basin.
  • Hannibals invasion of Rome.
  • The Dark Ages and the historical King Arthur.
  • The violent conflicts of the imperial Dynasties in Medieval China.
Quite a diverse list of options. I don't know how I could choose. Besides that, they also ask about user interest in these potential game features.
  • Craft a large variety of weapons with resources you find in the world.
  • Craft your own tools, special boosters, potions and spells.
  • Ability to choose among a large variety of abilities/skills to build your own fighting style.
  • Ability to fully create your character (gender, face, body shape..etc.).
  • See that your actions and choices have an impact on the world and story.
  • Upgrade the stats of your weapons/armor with resources you find in the world.
  • Customize your outfit and weapons with new colors, engravings..etc.
  • Build your armor set by choosing pieces of armor you want to use (helmet, chest..etc.).
  • Recruit and customize your allies, army or naval crew.
  • Upgrade and customize your mount/chariot/battleship.
  • Ability to choose between different lines of dialogue which will influence the outcome of the conversation and story.
  • Upgrade and customize secondary characters, NPCs, animal companions..etc.
I have no qualms with any of these features, except maybe crafting your own spells. I know that Assassin's Creed has never been that realistic with its features and mechanics, but magic is a bit over the top.
