The first new accuser is Aeralie Brighton, who’s worked on games like Minecraft, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Lawbreakers. She reported on Facebook that she had “fallen prey” to Soule back in 2014. Like Lawhead, the two met and got to know each other during a troubling time in Brighton’s life, and their relationship started as flirtatious – at least, according to the chat logs she shared with the general public. However, she lost interest in him after working with him, and his response to that was to send her a video of himself masturbating.
An unnamed third vocalist had a similar story, although she claims she was never flirtatious with Soule and yet received the video of him masturbating anyway. When she told him that she found that rather untasteful, he reportedly told her that “he had the power to make or break people’s careers.”
In the wake of these accusations, Jeremy Soule has, in fact, responded, although it was much in the way I anticipated: he has outright refused all the accusations.
“These 11 year old allegations are false. I am shocked and saddened that these outrageous claims have been made.”
So with three woman (two of which are willing to name themselves) calling him out, the case against Jeremy Soule is getting more intense. Here’s hoping justice wins out in the end.
