Turok is back on console, and as polygonal as ever. Dinosaur Hunter and Seeds of Evil is coming to Xbox One, thanks to Nightdive Studios.

In this true-to-original remake, the player fights dinosaurs, insects, and other bizarre beings as Native American space marine Joseph Turok. Using weapons ranging from a bow and arrow to a shotgun, you have to defend yourself from the hostile life of the unfamiliar planet you crash landed on.

The graphics will be retaining their low poly style, which we think will be for the better. There's something perfectly silly about a dinosaur with cyborg armor.

Nightdive has been working on Turok since 2015. Their specialty in gaming lately has been to take old and forgotten titles and give them new life. This is a good step towards that mantra, considering their other project (A remake of System Shock) is currently on hiatus.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be coming to Xbox One on March 2 for $19.99 each.
