Dreams contain a potpourri of images and sounds that leave the self open to interpretation. Sometimes dreams can be equated to prophesies, but sometimes they can represent enigmatic and buried emotions. Some dreamers even believe that dreams link to the real, complete, and honest self.

One game, developed by HyperSloth, embodies the core of a dream. Called Dream, this first person adventure narrative centers on the life of Howard Phillips, a young man "drifting through life" after the death of his father. When he dreams, however, many worlds and puzzles await in an effort to shine the light on Howard's ultimate path in life.

The game is inspired by the developers' life experiences, stuffed with imagination and the abnormal. As you explore, discover Howard's true emotions in a non-linear world, for whatever actions you make ultimately affect Howard's outcome. Which path will he walk?

Now, after two years of Early Access, Dream is about to wake and bring the full experience to players globally. When?

July 31!

Being one who, for the most part, enjoyed the Early Access version of Dream, I would wholeheartedly recommend the game. The serene OST, the sense of wonder in the environments, and the creative, challenging puzzles all create a unique experience that could make a player mouth, "Whoa."

If you'd like to purchase Dream before release, you can do so on Steam for $16.99.
