Trailer for I Am Setsuna Releases, NA Release is July 19

Ah, it turns out as if there is an English trailer available for I Am Setsuna, which takes a page from Chrono Trigger.



Just watching the trailer brings nothing but shivers down the spine. The music too...

Damn, it brought tears to the eyes. It just looks so beautiful, and it's an immediate day one purchase for those pining for the old RPG days, but with a modern twist.

It even comes complete with a three-dimensional world map!

Anyway, the trailer has rendered me absolutely breathless. The old Chrono Trigger-inspired turn-based battle system, which includes Techs and Team Combos, will make an appearance in this tale.

This is what we know according to the trailer: "Experience a timeless story of sacrifice, triumph, and courage."

Here's a bit more about the story:

"I Am Setsuna is the sorrowful story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible inner strength, and the sacrifice she must undertake to save the people of her land. As setsuna leaves with her two bodyguards for the farhtest lands, players will be immersed in an emotional and unforgettable story of true bravery."

What I'm most excited about this are the artwork and the music, but I am looking forward to the story too.

I Am Setsuna will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on July 19, 2016 in North America for $39.99. Those who pre-order on Steam will obtain a special music track from the composer Tomoki Miyoshi.
