With John as lead designer for this project, he and six others have been working on making Starcraft II an easier and noob-friendly experience. They believe that the game is a great deal of fun and are hoping to rectify some of the hurdles new players may have to vault in order to keep up with their more experienced friends. Our goal with the Axiom mod was to provide an experience that captured the essence of what makes Starcraft and real-time Strategy so compelling while taking away barriers such as high actions-per-minute and complex UI. This mod focuses on the 3 core tenets of great RTS gameplay.
Everyone should be able to enjoy competitive Starcraft. Axiom makes that possible.
All you need is a copy of Starcraft II to begin, even the free starter version. You simply load the mod in via the custom arcade option. You can get the Axiom mod from the official site and Starcraft II from Blizzard's game launcher, battle.net.
