Following Castlevania and Dragon's Dogma, Tomb Raider is the next video game that's positioned to get a Netflix anime. Hopefully, it's better than its predecessors, but that's a pretty low bar, at least for one of them.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the anime will take place after the reboot trilogy, and will presumably follow Laura Croft after she's fully embraced her role as the titular Tomb Raider. It's not known how much of the games you'll need to play to understand the plot, but I wouldn't hold my breath on much continuity. Tasha Huo, the writer of The Witcher: Blood Origin, is set to write and produce this anime too.
There's no release date, so... that's all there is to really say about this right now.
...have a good day?
