Today, along with the release of the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildlands beta, Ubisoft also released their new TV spot, entitled "Ruthless".  This TV spot is directed by the legendary John Mctiernan (Die Hard, Predator) and follows the Ghosts on their last mission in Bolivia, where they attempt to take down the Santa Blanca cartel.  This live action TV spot features some pretty brutal insight into the minds of cartel members.  Properly titled "Ruthless", it shows off the brutality and cruelty of the cartel, and more so the ruthlessness of the Ghosts themselves.

This TV spot is not the first project done by John Mctiernan for Wildlands.  He also directed a TV spot called "Red Dot" which was published earlier this year.  Both videos are worth the watch if you've been following the development of Wildlands, and even more so if you haven't.  The release of "Ruthless" at the same time as the beta gives players incentive to dive into this harsh and interesting open world.  Ubisoft is claiming that Ghost Recon Wildlands will be the largest open world action-adventure game that they've ever made.

The story takes place a few years from now in Bolivia, where the country has been completely turned into a narco-state by the Santa Blanca drug cartel.  The cartel viciously abused the country with no remorse, unchallenged by authority, until of course, the Ghosts arrive.  In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, you put yourself in the shoes of a Ghost whose mission is to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel by any means necessary.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recond Wildlands open beta starts today February 23rd, until the 27th.  It's available for download on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
