Though we've been talking about Titanfall 2 for awhile, it never actually had an official confirmation... until today. Titanfall 2's first trailer has surfaced today thanks to PlayStation Europe, and with the trailer also comes the news that the FPS will be going multiplatform, which has been rumored quite awhile ago. Titanfall is developered by Respawn Entertainment. Check out the trailer below:

It's 44 seconds full of pure mystery (the first seven is in pitch darkness), and the mechs also have swords, just saying. You can read more about the story here, though the gist is that the story will be dark and gritty. Additionally, a single-player campaign will be attached this time around, unlike the original.

New gameplay footage will be revealed June 12 so we have a couple of months of twiddling our thumbs. Titanfall 2 is expected to release in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
