Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is DnD Looter Shooter by Gearbox - E3 2021

Gearbox is good for more than just a Borderlands game, they can also make Borderlands spin-off games! Introducing Tiny Tinas Wonderlands, a high fantasy first-person shooter RPG.

The games reveal was the introductory presentation of the Summer Games Fest showcase on Thursday. The trailer set the stage for the rest of the event with a first look trailer, showing a world full of knights, swords, dragons, and over the top humor.



While based in fantasy, the game is actually framed as a game of Dungeons and Dragons. They dont straight out say that, likely due to licensing reasons. But concepts and terminology like dice rolls are frequently leaned on. We can expect dramatic rules, improvised realities, and plenty of nerd-centric humor based on the world of tabletop gaming.

Wonderlands also has a rather impressive voice cast, with big names like Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes, Will Arnett, and Ashley Burch. Burch actually appeared on stage after the trailer to talk more about the game. According to her, Wonderlands isnt just a Borderlands game. It will feature new mechanics and concepts to help set it apart. One example given was the ability to create your own character.
