Lately, Tiger Woods has been able to spend time away from the spotlight. His spectacular golf career has run its course (mostly) and his all-too-public private life has gone back to "as private as it can get." Recently, he was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. They discussed the typical things: golf, his ex-wife, his new beard, and what he's been up to lately. The most interesting of which is the last point. That's where Woods told Stephen Colbert that he's been spending about 8 hours every day playing video games.
Go ahead and check out the clip below if you have 6 minutes to spare.
I play about that much, so can I meet Stephen Colbert?
I've got to admit, that's a really fun thought, especially since Woods' game of choice appears to be Call of Duty. He mentioned that he's actually been humbled by his experiences with video games. And I'm sure I don't even have to tell you how that came about. We've all been there. We play a game for hours every day for weeks. We've mastered the campaigns, dominated our AI foes, and grown bored of the achievements. We decide it's time to use our finely tuned skills to completely obliterate the multiplayer scene. But instead, we find ourselves fragged and teabagged into oblivion by tweens. And on top of that, they always claim things like "I just bought the game," "I'm having an off-day," and "I'm distracted because your mom is giving me a blowjob."
What I'm trying to say is, for the first time ever, I know what it's like to be Tiger Woods.
