Thumper, the popular VR "rhythm violence" game developed by Drool has made its way to the rest of the mobile platforms. Thumper: Pocket Edition is now available for both iOS and Android devices.
Thumper originally released on PC and PS4, with VR support for the Oculus, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR in October of 2016, coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One the following year. The game finally made its way onto iOS devices in January of 2018. But until now, it had remained absent on Android.
In all editions of Thumper, the player controls a beetle-like object as they traverse down an equally metallic track. The player has to press buttons on time with the lights and walls on the track, each timing with the music. It's known for its powerful punch felt trough the soundtrack and visuals.
Thumper: Pocket Edition is available now on Android via the Google Play Store for $4.99.
